Services

Appointments are held online, scheduled at a time convenient to the client. I accept self-referrals and referrals from healthcare professionals. Reasons for referral may include (but are not limited to):

  • Pre-conception Carrier Screening - this could be for a couple conceiving naturally or via assisted reproductive technology, or for an individual/couple using a gamete donor who is a known 'carrier''.  I help clients decide whether testing is right for them, facilitate testing if they choose to proceed, and help them to interpret and adjust to the results, providing clarity and support for family planning decisions.
  • Pre-implantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A) - I provide pre-test counselling, helping clients to decide whether PGT-A is right for them, as well as post-test counselling to discuss PGT-A results, for example, the implications of transferring a 'mosaic' embryo.
  • Pre-implantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic Disease (PGT-M) - Where there is a known risk to embryos of inheriting a monogenic condition, I provide pre-test counselling, helping clients to decide whether PGT-M is right for them, as well as post-test counselling to discuss PGT-M results.
  • Pre-implantation Genetic Testing for Structural Rearrangements (PGT-SR) - Where there is a known risk to embryos of inheriting an unbalanced chromosome rearrangement, I provide pre-test counselling, helping clients to decide whether PGT-SR is right for them, as well as post-test counselling to discuss PGT-SR results.
  • General genetic counselling - I can provide tailored sessions where there is a suspected or known genetic condition in the family, or where general genetics advice is sought. These sessions would usually include risk assessment, considering genetic testing if appropriate, and exploring reproductive options.
